Everything since has been a faster, cheaper version of the same idea lower fees, better UX but the core idea never changed.
Ritual did not try to improve that idea. It built for something that idea was never meant to handle.

Every L1 before Ritual assumed transactions should be cheap send tokens, run contracts, every validator computes the same result. That works fine until you try to run AI.
Run the same AI model on two different machines and you can get two different answers. That is just how computers handle this kind of math. Ritual built Symphony to work with that reality instead of ignoring it.

On most chains if you want AI in your app you call an external API. Your contract leaves the chain, talks to a corporate server and comes back with an answer you just have to trust. There is no proof, no verification and just hoping the response is accurate and unchanged.
Ritual removes that step entirely. LLM calls, image generation, ZK proofs and more are native ritual precompiles. Your contract calls a model the same way it calls any other function directly onchain.

Persistent agents and sovereign agents run without anyone keeping them alive. Scheduled transactions execute forever on a timer with no keeper bot and no server. If an agent goes quiet the chain brings it back automatically.
That is not an improvement on existing infrastructure. It is a different category of infrastructure entirely for AI.

Every chain after Ethereum was still answering Ethereum's question, just faster or cheaper. Ritual asked what Web3 actually needs next and built
the chain around that answer instead.
This kind of thing cannot be added on top. It has to be built in from the beginning. That is exactly what Ritual did.
Stay Ritualized fam!
Bitcoin gave us decentralized money. Ethereum gave us a world computer. Everything since has been a cheaper, faster copy of the same idea.
Ritual is the first L1 where models, data, and money all run natively in the chain, the last one you'll need to build on.
