I have to document somewhere that I bought these Birkenstocks my first year of teaching. I think they saw their last day this week when a chunk of the cork sole broke off in the library. 17 years!! 2 classrooms, 2 libraries, 3 schools.

For YEARS I thought I was burnt out, and in some cases, I was. But perhaps in a more real way, I’ve been demoralized. I work with amazing people, and am so blessed to have job. But autonomy and creativity can be quashed by outside forces and platitudes. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

When did @WordPress become so hard to use?!?? I don’t cuss, but I want to! It used to be intuitive but I’m struggling. Not that my content is anything amazing, but I’ve used a blog kind of like a professional portfolio for years, so it is important to me. [gif of irritated woman]
