I am definitely going to join the 🐑fold on airpods finally but the realtime translation stuff REALLY sold me.
I await the day someone develops 👇🏼this app though #needit

Nothing is so humbling as a reminder I'm just a lil critter in human shape, as when I turn my keyboard over and look at all the snack crumbs that fall out.
Is it called vibe coding because I spend most of the time sitting here watching Cursor fixing its own mistakes with new mistakes, while listening to some sweet triphop and Drum n' Bass?
Does reposting this make me wish I had a "_at_shopify" at the end of my username like my cool colleagues? Yes, but also, I'm a builder (like you) and a cat/Kat lady (like some of you) so maybe tune in for my Relateable Anecdotes and gently warmed takes at 12p EST!
Thank you all for tuning in! Today my poor old iPhone 11 got so hot from my takes that I got a "battery needs to return to normal temperature" warning
(jk it was actually from trying to run the X app during our Space because this app is Not Performant on old devices)
Come virtually hang with us next Wednesday! We want to roundrobin with you on the app category movers, shakers, and merchants' wishlist of apps they dream of and need you to build. Whatcha wanna chat about?

SO EXCITED that this capability launched to the Theme Store today. Goodbye to the days of falling in love with the theme listing, only to see a sea of grey placeholder boxes once the theme gets installed to the store.
Now love at first sight is continued as love at install 😍
you can launch faster too
every theme you install is pre-configured with the same layout and features as the demo store
from size charts and lookbooks to ingredient lists and room visualizers
millennials are the last great software engineers because we do this shit purely for the love of the game
I started coding because my parents wouldn't let me go over to my friends house, not for "ARR"
In-the-moment, in-the-admin reviews are finally here! We've kept our (UX) Best Practices for implementing these in the dev doc short & sweet but I'll give few more tips in 🧵
New: the App Bridge Reviews API
Collect reviews for your app right from the admin.
Merchants can give feedback without leaving their workflow. No custom component design or App Store redirects needed.
It seems like a no-brainer for us to suggest "don't interrupt a merchant workflow", but remember that we count Shows of the prompt, not Submissions. Interrupting a busy merchant will basically result in them dismissing your modal, and wasting 1 of your 3 prompt-moments a year.
Lastly, collecting in-context admin reviews can help diversify what the Review Summarizer on your listing highlights about your app. You can encourage more reviews talking about your app's key features and unique value, not just how much they like your customer support staff :)
