We are saddened to hear of the death of Sir Andrew Davis. We were honoured to perform & record with him over his five-decade career, including most recently Wagner’s Götterdämmerung, Vaughan Williams’ Sinfonia Antartica & Elgar’s Enigma Variations. He will be greatly missed.

STOLEN INSTRUMENT
Today my beloved flute was taken. It was in a beige rucksack, stolen between Platform 3 at Farringdon and East Croydon Station, on the 9.34 train to Brighton.
Flute is a Brannen silver Millenium 5320 with a silver Lafin headjoint w/gold lip plate. Please share!

So deeply saddened by the death of conductor Bramwell Tovey. Working with him on Silver Voice was one of the greatest pleasures of my career. Sincerest condolences to his family. What a huge loss.
