When we identified a user trading on classified government information, we referred the matter to the DOJ & cooperated with their investigation.

Like many startups, @Polymarket started with what made sense: Postgres.

As their platform took off, the data in Postgres grew, and it naturally became used for everything - transactions, data warehousing, and user-facing analytics. Analytics began to strain Postgres, and limited what questions they could ask.
In a couple months, Polymarket's lean data team added ClickHouse alongside Postgres, powering their data warehouse, in-app analytics and public APIs.
