📷📷MORE METEORS SIGHTED 📷📷 A statistical anomaly is unfolding overhead. The American Meteor Society confirms 2026’s surge in bright fireballs is real: large, sonic-boom events witnessed by 50 people have occurred roughly once every three days since January. Notable incidents include a massive daytime fireball over Western Europe (March 8, 3,200 reports), a 7-tonne asteroid over Ohio, and a fragment that punched through a Houston home last Saturday. AMS analyst Mike Hankey reports the proportion of powerful, widely seen meteors has shifted sharply upward. Activity from the Anthelion sporadic source has roughly doubled, with many big events tracing to the same sky patch. No new shower or exotic cause is evident—ordinary rocks, but something has changed. Further monitoring is needed. ###

"La. Department of Environmental Quality investigating if chemical spill damaged pipe tied to Roseland water outage" from WDSU News Alyssa Gomez WDSU ROSELAND, LA WATER CRISIS File 033 – Part 037 – 03/2526 Roseland, LA wdsu.com/.../louisiana-chemi… From the article: "It's as if you have the East Palestine train derailment and explosion combined with the BP oil spill," Scott Smith said. "It is an unprecedented situation what's going on." WDSU asked LDEQ multiple times to identify the exact chemical that spilled at the plant, but did not receive a response, and was pointed to the online documentation. According to Scott Smith, an independent environmentalist who reviewed the LDEQ reports on the February spill, toxic chemicals have been spilling from the site since February, and were still flowing into drainage ditches on March 2nd. According to Smith, one of the chemicals is Toluene. The National Library of Medicine defines it as a "clear, colorless liquid with a distinctive smell." It "occurs naturally in crude oil," and may be "produced in the process of making gasoline and other fuels from crude oil and making coke from coal." "It's as if you have the East Palestine train derailment and explosion combined with the BP oil spill, so it is an unprecedented situation what's going on," said Smith. Smith said a whistleblower took him to the leak two weeks ago. That whistleblower explained that the ditches lead to the Tangipahoa Parish River. ###

UPDATE From Michael Constant: Taken 3-17-2026. You can see that they are pumping that pond out so that it flows into the culvert on Steptoe Rd. Is that pond treated water because I never saw any kind of treatment systems by it? đź“· I'm curious to know how much it cost to be able to use the Roseland community as Smitty's dumping ground because obviously people were paid off to allow our community to be treated this way without the citizens input. I wonder if any of this is related to the alleged city worker that may or may not have gotten chemical burns while working on the water line by Smitty's Supply Inc. If anyone knows anything about that, please fill me in on that. Thanks

FROM INVESTIGATIVE MIDWEST: A majority of the top pesticide-using counties in the U.S. have cancer rates above the national average. For years, pesticide users have claimed agrichemicals have caused cancer, along with other health complications. Courts have agreed, ruling against pesticide manufacturers multiple times. Several scientific studies have also found links between cancer and pesticides, which can drift through the air or run off into nearby rivers and streams. Full story in comments.

File 033 – Part 028 – 03/14/26 Roseland, LA "Roseland Plant Explosion: New Chemical Results Raise Concerns" by Christina Jensen of Louisiana Public Broadcasting ...In this week’s LA Speaks, independent testing expert Scott Smith sits down with LPB’s Christina Jensen to discuss newly released lab results from environmental samples the two collected in October following the explosion at the Smitty’s Supply plant in Roseland, LA. Jensen was the only reporter on site conducting this exclusive testing with Smith, and the results could have significant implications for residents. According to Smith, the lab findings show elevated levels of dioxins and PFOS—known as “forever chemicals”—with concentrations he says are higher than those documented in water after the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. Smith also shares photographs he says show suspected chemical discharge flowing toward the Tangipahoa River. He plans to submit the findings to the Louisiana Department of Envrionmental Quality and has hosted public town halls in Roseland to discuss the results with residents, some of whom report experiencing health symptoms..." ** BREAKING NEWS District Judge Grants Motion to Intervene in Federal Consent Decree Against Norfolk Southern. Major Implications For Other Chemical Disaster Impacted Communities ** FILE #049 PART #004 03/10/26 -Akron, OH "District Judge Grants Motion to Intervene in Federal Consent Decree Against Norfolk Southern" - press release from@Government Accountability Project/ Lesley Pacey March 9, 2026 District Judge Grants Motion to Intervene in Federal Consent Decree Against Norfolk Southern Akron, OH—Today, a District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio granted a Motion to Intervene on behalf of East Palestine residents Robert Figley and Barbara Adams in a major federal lawsuit against Norfolk Southern after the 2023 train derailment. This development is a huge step towards bringing much needed remedies to this community. In November 2025, attorney Jedidiah I. Bressman of Keenan Law submitted the Motion to Intervene on behalf of residents Robert Figley and Barbara Adams to bring transparency, accountability, and improved health protections to a community still suffering nearly three years after the disaster. Government Accountability Project offered evidence to this motion that helped inform the concerns raised by the intervenors. The information featured Freedom of Information Act documents showing the town had been neglected by federal officials while chemical contamination only worsened, based on scientific data collection by independent scientist and whistleblower Scott Smith. Evidence also included a declaration from whistleblower and Certified Industrial Hygienist Stephen Petty stating Norfolk Southern ignored prevailing wind patterns and collected baseline dioxin samples from areas impacted by the toxic plume, potentially skewing results and undermining the reliability of the soil testing. District Judge John R. Adams' granting of this Motion paves the way for the intervenors to join ongoing litigation against Norfolk Southern, enabling them to raise concerns about environmental testing and contamination levels in Ohio and western Pennsylvania, as well as the adequacy of the proposed settlement affecting the East Palestine community. This step forward is the hope that this close-knit community will be able to put the disaster behind them. "Residents of East Palestine have been suffering for years, and evidence already points to emerging cancer clusters and ongoing contamination concerns. Today's decision could open the door for discovery that can bring the truth to light," stated Government Accountability Project Senior Environmental Investigator, Lesley Pacey. "We are deeply grateful to Judge Adams for ensuring that the voices of East Palestine residents will be heard in this case and to Melinda Young, Mindy Bish and Jedidiah Bressman of Keenan Law." ###

FILE 048 PART 002 – 03/05/2026 Filed this today with the City of Waverly. Asking for just one year's worth of Brian Birgen's council-agenda emails—should take under 30 minutes, so free under Iowa law. Also calling them out on that $25K fee for the full set. Why the attorney? They rerouted all my requests to Ahlers & Cooney back in February—said 'direct everything here.' So that's where it goes now. Full request below. Let's see what they say. ###
