Was in Massachusetts all weekend at an AAU Tourney. Too many coaches & parents consumed with D1 recruitment. Most have no idea how hard it is to play at the D2 & D3 levels. Need to appreciate any level of recruitment. Playing at the college level is hard. Talent at every level!

Head coach leaves → Assistant loses their job or uproots family and follows the Head Coach on an Assistant Coach salary.
HCs have 3–5 year security. Assistants live year-to-year on 1 year contracts.
Everyone is debating movement… while ignoring the most exposed group in the system.
