Mental health is a rising challenge in OKC, and that’s why city government is entering the conversation for the first time. MAPS 4 includes several projects that touch upon mental health, including and especially the addition of mental health crisis beds. (1/3)

When threats of violence turn into physical harm to children and teachers, will Oklahoma’s leaders with the authority to remove him from office or prosecute him continue to sit on their hands?

Oklahoma is certainly a land of contrasts. @GovStitt pushes for hundreds of millions of $ in taxpayer subsidies for a multi-billion dollar international corporation, but said he doesn’t want to give the homeless “free stuff” and will not consider expanding affordable housing here

Here's a conversation Stitt had this morning with a reporter on why he dissolved the council and how the state should address homelessness instead.
Affordable housing is slim, mental health access is a struggle and Oklahomans continue to experience homelessness. But the Governor’s Interagency Council on Homelessness has been dissolved. The council had just started work on a new statewide plan to address homelessness.
