Mental health is a rising challenge in OKC, and that’s why city government is entering the conversation for the first time. MAPS 4 includes several projects that touch upon mental health, including and especially the addition of mental health crisis beds. (1/3)
Don't miss this important story by @kayla_branch1:

I’m pretty sure there is no definition of “internal documents” in the Oklahoma Open Records Act. There’s agency records and exemptions. If it’s not exempt, it’s a record. #FOI#transparency
Oklahoma is certainly a land of contrasts. @GovStitt pushes for hundreds of millions of $ in taxpayer subsidies for a multi-billion dollar international corporation, but said he doesn’t want to give the homeless “free stuff” and will not consider expanding affordable housing here
Affordable housing is slim, mental health access is a struggle and Oklahomans continue to experience homelessness. But the Governor’s Interagency Council on Homelessness has been dissolved.
The council had just started work on a new statewide plan to address homelessness.
With you on our side, we are able to help thousands of Oklahomans through promoting mental health, preventing suicide, ending homelessness and transforming the justice system. Continue advocating to #endthestigma by giving in honor of #GivingTuesday at mhaok.org/donate/.
