Sometimes, if you are lucky, you get to witness your journalism having an impact. I spent three years working on our podcast Conviction: The Disappearance of Nuseiba Hasan. Today, an Ontario court officially declared Nuseiba dead and cited our podcast in its ruling.

A little update from me: I’ve moved to Victoria! I very much enjoyed my eight years in Hamilton. Thanks to all of you who shared ideas, questions and your stories with me. For now, I’ll mostly be taking care of a new baby and gazing at the ocean and amazing blooms in my hometown.
