Spending the day quietly crocheting and enjoying the AC. I went outside and said "nope" and went back inside. I'll be staying here until after Tuesday...with the AC...on high.

My husband is officially medically laid off as of end of business today. I am so relieved that he can now take things easy and work on his hobbies plus spend more time with me. 💕🥰

My sweet baby, Leeloo, was spayed today. She is *not* happy about her donut but it’s a step up from the plastic cone she had earlier. She kept getting her nails caught in the loops trying to get it off. I’ll be spending the night listening to her soft moaning and disapproving looks. But it’s worth it to make sure she doesn’t get pregnant.

Happy New Year!

Starting my week working on projects that have been put aside for the holidays and health issues. I’ve got a C2C pillow to finish, a prototype #Amigurumi gnome, and a #Wicked #Elphaba cardigan pattern to finish creating (as well as crochet the item). We’ve got our 3D printer set up and later today we’ll be setting up our laser cutter/etcher. Should be a fun week! #crochet #wip

Spending the day with hubby and our animals. Mr. Woolsey (Yorkie), Loki (Border Collie), Freya (Border Collie), Monty (Scottie), and Leeloo (Westie). Then there's our 4 sweet ferrets, Wiggles, Donut, Cookie, and Socks. I'm getting our projectors and lights set up for NYE. Fun!

Something I've learned over the past year or so...social media can be absolutely toxic and make your life miserable. But if you learn to utilize it in a positive way, your life can be enhanced and not controlled by it. That's the route I've taken over the past year or so. I highly recommend it.
