Over the last 12 years, India has worked to make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible. We feel proud when we are known as the nation with the world’s largest healthcare programme, Ayushman Bharat, which provides top-quality healthcare to the most vulnerable. Other efforts like PM Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana have made medicines affordable. The prices of stents and knee implants have become affordable and this has helped many people. At the same time, medical education has become more accessible to people due more institutions and seats being available. We will keep building on this ground covered so far in order to build a healthy India. #12YearsOfSwasthBharat

পশ্চিমবঙ্গে উন্নয়নের বড় সুযোগ হাতছাড়া হয়েছে তৃণমূল সরকারের উদাসীনতায়। ২০১৬ সালে কেন্দ্র সরকার রাজ্যের ৭৮০টি Census Town-কে নগর প্রশাসনের আওতায় এনে পরিকল্পিত উন্নয়নের সুযোগ করে দিতে চেয়েছিল। এতে উন্নত রাস্তা, নিকাশি, পানীয় জল, বর্জ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা ও স্ট্রিট লাইটের মতো পরিষেবা আরও শক্তিশালী করা যেত কেন্দ্রীয় আর্থিক সহায়তার মাধ্যমে । কিন্তু সেই উদ্যোগ বাস্তবায়িত হয়নি। ফলে দ্রুত বেড়ে ওঠা বহু জনপদ আজও অপরিকল্পিত নগরায়ণের সমস্যায় ভুগছে এবং উন্নয়নের সুযোগ থেকে বঞ্চিত হচ্ছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানুষ রাজনীতি নয়, উন্নয়ন চাইছে। ডাবল ইঞ্জিন সরকারই কেন্দ্রের অর্থ, পরিকল্পনা ও প্রযুক্তিকে কাজে লাগিয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গকে আধুনিক ও বাসযোগ্য নগর ব্যবস্থার পথে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাবে। উন্নয়নের সুযোগ আর নষ্ট হবে না, নব গঠিত পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের সঠিক সিদ্ধান্তই গড়ে তুলবে উন্নত পশ্চিমবঙ্গ ।

Government of West Bengal has directed officials to begin the process of reopening around 10 closed jute mills across the state, aiming to restore employment and revive production in one of Bengal's oldest industries. The move follows a review of mills that have remained shut due to financial, operational and raw-material challenges.
