The R&A will follow the USGA’s lead and hand direct spots to The Open Championship for LIV players via the official standings list. It’s unclear how many will available at this stage, but it’s another huge step in the validation of the league.

Live golf in the UK has all been behind a paywall for several years now, with the majority aired on Sky Sports. LIV Golf will now be the only free live TV golf product in the UK, with live shows and highlights shows shown across ITV channels and streaming platforms.
This is a big deal for both LIV and UK golf fans. Well done to all involved 👏

LIV Golf will be streamed live in the UK for free on ITV X from 3pm tomorrow. This has not been officially announced by the league, but ITV just aired an advert during the Carabao Cup match between Liverpool and Spurs.
This is good news considering the issues with the LIV app today.
