BREAKING: Jeff Bezos's AI lab 'Project Prometheus' eyes London, Kings Cross for new office.
It would join OpenAI and Anthropic, both AI labs have been recently expanding their presence in the UK.
Project Prometheus is discussing signing a lease at the Jellicoe Building for three floors spanning 38,000 sq ft.
Launched in late 2025 by Bezos and Vik Bajaj as co-CEOs, the company specializes in physical AI tools for engineering and manufacturing products like computers, vehicles, and spacecraft, with recent $10B funding at $38B valuation.

"If we're to make life sustainable on Earth, we need to capture gigatons of carbon. To do that, we need a profitable mechanism".
"20% of the world's energy you can't electrify. So, we're going to have to create trillions of dollars of synthetic fuels at some point and we're going to have to do so very, very cheaply".
