Larry Fitzgerald Sr. — the father of Arizona Cardinals Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald — passed away on Monday at the age of 71. Fitzgerald Sr. was a distinguished journalist and voice for Minnesota sports for nearly 50 years.

In 1957, Ollie became the first Black NFL player ever to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
