The team have had a fairly active start to the year. We've been requested three times so far this month by Police Scotland Forth Valley . 🗓️🚨 Firstly assisting an injured walker who was in Edinchip. And also assisting a neighbouring team 🤝👨⚕️extract a casualty at Alva Glen.

Thankfully, the quick thinking of two young walkers who happened to come upon the casualty were able to provide hot drinks and guide the rescue team into their location with their headtorches, preventing a bad situation becoming worse. 🙏 #Rescue #Teamwork #Walkers #Headtorches

Last weekend was our final training of the year.
And it was time to test our skills against the search dogs from Search & Rescue Dog Association (Scotland) and SARDA Southern Scotland along with their handlers from Tayside Mountain Rescue Team and Ochils Mountain Rescue Team.

Some good advice on how to enjoy a winter day in the Scottish hills.
Remember, if you do need assistance, then call "999" and ask for "POLICE" then "MOUNTAIN RESCUE". This ensures you will get assistance as quickly as possible.
