🚨SCAM ARTIST ALERT🚨 @itzz_mon000 is tracing other artist's work and using AI to alter or make backgrounds (and who knows what else!) she blocked Raven before Raven even know she existed, and shes still selling her traced/ai art. yikes! definitely avoid, i've reported her to VGen since AI use is not allowed nor is tracing. DO BETTER!!

Ppl who regularly commission brokers expect to receive the art immediately, so when you as a solo artist take a couple of weeks to complete it because of a long queue, they get upset even though you deliver on time and it's getting impossible to meet those expectations 🫠

Seeing so many posts from people finding out their model's artist is actually a broker and it's so sad, especially since 90% if these are on vgen, if vgen really wants to continue being so pro-artists as they say to be they should completely ban all the brokers on the site...

ARTISTS BEWARE OF SCAMMERS. I almost got scammed and got sent a phishing mail. I knew it was a scam the moment they panicked when I said I wasn't gonna email anything back to this email. I thought the wording of the email I recieve was weird and the fact that they didnt wanna send a screenshot of them sending the money from wise. It was very suspicious for me as well how they said my Wise Tag wasnt working and kept asking me for my email. The email was showing a Gmail domain which wise said they would never send. I reported this situation to Wise! I am lowkey heartbroken about it but I am thankful I dodged a bullet. Artists are already struggling as is to get commissions. Please dont do this.

Since I’ve recieved some ear-full about this shit and the confusion behind what’s real and not, let me make it clear. And yes, this is a call out post on @SrtaMimiinuki. I asked for a refund multiple times and requested for it kindly. After being left on read, i warned @SrtaMimiinuki that I would be requesting a chargeback in a week if she does not respond. She left me on read again and therefore I placed it to no vail. She then proceeds to blast on Twitter that I only reached out to her after. She continues to hide replies and refuses offer any solution and has taken money with no final product. I highly recommended avoiding an artist who can’t follow through their T.O.S. and has shown no sympathy towards her costumers. Lord knows if its her first time doing this. And it’s unfortunate, because their art is pretty nice. It’s also sad to see them use AI in order to promote their stuff. Highly disappointing.

Things that go into pricing artwork: Raw skill, years of experience and personal business expenses, regional currency and fluctuations, all rounded up into an hourly wage (in most cases). Expecting artists to give out work for free is wrong. Complaining about an artist's prices without knowing WHY things are priced the way they are is also not a good look for content creators. The market is vast. You can find an artist that fits your budget and specific requirements at any given time. Trying to brute force specific personal requirements on artists as a whole is straight up wrong. There are different types of services and TOS because artists are ALL different people. Not a monolith. 'Artists should do this or that'. Some will, some won't. The only thing that should be universally expected from artists is professionalism and the ability to hit deadlines. Everything else, from pricing, process to TOS is entirely dependent on the individual artist. And that should be respected. The way you talk about artists publicly is also a reflection of you as a creator. It's important to respect the people who are helping you make your dreams come true. Keep that in mind. 💗
