@JerseyCity does anyone know what happened in exchange place during the fireworks? All of a sudden there was screaming and running, a massive stampede of people running and getting trampled on. I heard there was a shooter but nothing confirmed.

Chakra UI v3 introduces new composition components like `Button` that offer higher abstractions similar to v2. This will simplify migration and provide a familiar API. Check out the WIP set of components: github.com/chakra-ui/chakra-…! #ChakraUI #WebDev

I cannot believe @mint is shutting down. I've been relying on it for probably 10 years to keep track of my spending. So sad that @Intuit really thinks I'd like to migrate to @creditkarma. Really sad.

Storybook decided to remove support for aliases in your import paths. WAT?! What an odd thing to remove support for, it's incredibly popular. Go here and vote on my comment asking them to reopen the issue and add support. github.com/storybookjs/story…

I stumbled on this video from last year where, Taylor Hunt (@tigt_), whom I adore and worked with at Kroger, talks with @RyanCarniato for hours. It reveals the insane amounts of research he did to show that React and basically all other modern JS dev practices are ridiculous.
Super stoked to have @tigt_ on my stream this Friday. We talk a lot about performance in the abstract on my channel, but he lived this over 2 years as he explored the whole ecosystem to find the performance he needed to overhaul Kroger's website. youtube.com/watch?v=Vcq2DvkM…

The impetus for the interview was all because of his amazing multi-part blog series (which I still need to read after I finish this video). I trust its amazing because Ryan is so excited to be interviewing Taylor. Here the series: x.com/tigt_/status/150375598…

Lastly, I want to apologize to you @tigt_ for being so deaf to your knowledge. It's crystal clear now how much we underestimated you and overestimated the tools and practices we were (and still do) use. Bravo and congrats on finally getting heard. Miss you, u stupid idiot ;)

just yolo'd `bun test` on our monorepo jest test suite. I didn't expect everything to pass, so the result is pretty good. The speed is absurd 🤯

"Move fast and break things" is outdated advice for startups. Software ate the world—and there's more competition than ever. Our startup learned the hard way to ignore this advice, and this is what happened:
