I don't like being wrong but I am not too proud to admit when I am I did not in a million years expect that Trump would end up signing a deal with the Iranian regime that is far worse than the Obama deal But there you have it

All in all, I'm not that surprised that Trump decided to go for a historical defeat despite having everything in place to force an unconditional surrender. My guess is Steve Witkoff, Kushner and their Qatari friends were vital in making this shambolic deal happen.

Trump in Iran and Putin in Ukraine started the same but went in opposite extremes. Both believed a small tap would cause the enemy to collapse and for the people to greet them as saviors. Putin chose to double down, Trump to give up. Sunk cost fallacy vs. shiny object syndrome.

BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to permanently hand over the Strait of Hormuz to Iran under their full sovereign authority, with Iran collecting tolls called "service fees" from all commercial ships after a 60-day waiver period. The opening is planned for Friday, after the signing, per Fars. With pre-war Hormuz traffic at 30,000 vessels and 7.6 billion barrels of oil per year, this could generate $10 billion in annual revenue for Iran, and comes on top of the $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly sent to Iran. This also directly contradicts Trump's claim of a "toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz" under no fees.

If the actual terms of the deal are much better than the catastrophic surrender document being widely reported, then Trump would be publishing them to set the record straight. He is not

Like it or not, the reality is this: Trump negotiated for PERSONAL INTERESTS, and Iran negotiated like a GANG. The individual and the gang got their deal,but BOTH nations LOST.

President Trump did indeed make a deal that’s in the national interest… Qatar’s national interest. The concessions the media has reported thus far (which have yet to be confirmed because the U.S. is obfuscating the truth), are not in America’s interest. They certainly are not in Israel’s interest or that of the region. The party which benefits the most is Qatar…just like all of Trump’s Witkoff pushed “ceasefires”.

Ok. Let us know when you verify the identifies of the more than 40,000 civilians killed by the regime just a few weeks before and NOT in a state of war where they were civilian casualties of a legitimate airstrike in an IRGC base.

Lebanon did not want to be represented at the negotiating table by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Israel did not want to be represented by the United States. They are both sovereign states, and neither is a party to this agreement that sells Lebanon back to the IRGC.
