🌈 I'm glad to have been able to add my thoughts, even if they were a bit after the wrap up 😉 Take the rest of #PrideMonth to learn up on the history of #LGBTQ people, STEM or not, and think about how you can be more inclusive of LGBTQ people every day! #LGBTQinBMB
That's all the discussion questions we have for today. This was an incredible Twitter chat! To our panelists, we can't thank you enough for sharing your experiences, expertise and recommendations. #LGBTQinBMB#Pride#PrideInSTEM#PrideMonth
Hi all! I'm Inayah (they/them), a PhD candidate in biochemistry with a focus on biophysics at @GC_BiochemPhD! I am studying in the Goss lab at @Hunter_College, where I also teach an intro to chemistry lab every semester. And I was given express permission to be late! 😉
Good afternoon and welcome to today's Pride in BMB Twitter chat! If you're joining us, please take a moment to introduce yourself. #LGBTQinBMBasbmb.org/meetings-events/as…

Willingness to let you work at your own pace! A PhD is a marathon, not a race, and personally I think its better to set boundaries on hours and weekends than spend every second at the lab (unless that's what you like to do).
Also in the interim of me not posting on this Twitter account, I passed my candidacy exam! Starting Fall 2022 I will be a biochemistry doctoral candidate 😀
I'm so glad I was able to share this story for National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Stuart is so funny and kind and inspirational to me, and I hope his story can inspire young PhD students and postdocs as well. Link: asbmb.org/asbmb-today/people…
Amazing to see my article as the top link in the @painmednews newsletter! I'm so glad for the opportunity to pursue a health journalism career while I figure out where my doctoral degree will take me. Article here: painmedicinenews.com/Clinica…
