If this under-16s ban on social media is this govmt's way of surveilling our phones
They will be the most disingenuous insidious pernicious collective ever to exist in a contemporary government
@X days are time limited under Sir Keir Starmer
UK is moving towards statism

As a Safeguarding Lead
Yes, children must be safe from online harms
Yes, children are adversely impacted/influenced via social media
I 100% do not believe Sir Keir Starmer's social media ban is about protecting children when CSE and VAWG continues unstopped in UK towns/cities
At the heart of this government under Sir Keir Starmer is the obsession with power and state overreach
Not about protecting the public, not about protecting children
The UK govmt is fast transitioning into an Ai-assisted surveillance authoritarian or totalitarian State

Yes, children are adversely impacted/influenced via social media
However imo the 'protecting children' reason is a ruse
If Sir Keir Starmer was focused on protecting children
I'd expect the same energy from him stopping
• Knife violence in youth culture
• Sexual exploitation of school-age girls by organised groups of men
• Violence - incl harassment - against girls in public spaces
I expect this UK govmt - fast transitioning to Ai driven surveillance State - will end

Weird how this UK govmt will ban social media for children and set digital curfews
Whilst the sexual exploitation of school-age girls by organised groups of men continues unstopped today in UK towns/cities
Makes me wonder if the social media ban is really about Child Protection
I can't wait for UK govmt to put its loving arms around me
I'll be safe in its arms knowing all my data, my real time location, my medical records, my biometrics, my banking, my friends, family and my point of view, are safe in the arms of a loving State under Sir Keir Starmer
Every country on earth for past millennia, incl every tribe, clan, fiefdom and government survival depended/depends on
1 Destabilise others
2 Don't be destabilised
Militarily, politically, culturally, economically, socially - all infrastructure
Warfare reduces to those two
Methods of Destabilising others have been used for millennia
Infiltration
Espionage
Sabotage
Whether using contemporary methods such as DDoS, cutting subterranean cables, using OCGs or recruiting single use teens on Discord
The principle remains same
Destabilise by any means
In UK I don't have the right to hurt, punish or embarrass you bc you do not affirm/bow to my worldview
This applies in schools, universities, workplace, anywhere
I can try to persuade you, convince, lecture, teach
But I cannot force/coerce you to affirm me, that is terrorism
I believe we have been subjected to so much violent/coercive rhetoric
Online, in public life, in politics
That we have become desensitised to it
It's like we are microdosing terrorism rhetoric but we don't notice its adverse effects anymore
We just become more subdued
For clarity
The bad guy is the one who stabs the 17yo girl walking alone in public
The bad guy is never the one who is horrified and calls for an end to knife violence against girls
Seems like many are getting confused
The bad guy is always the one who stabs the girl
Always
Dear @ukhomeoffice
When we see knife attack on lone 17yo female in Burnley
Who in @UKParliament / Westminster is brave enough to ask
Is violence against women/girls (VAWG) in public spaces motivated by ideology to destabilise, dehumanise, terrorise society
