None of this has changed in the last year. Except that truly decentralized community-owned projects have an even tougher uphill battle to gain traction. We'll be updating instructions on how to obtain, use, and deploy $KOIN soon.

Sorry for the lengthy delay between posts as the community took over maintaining the Koinos blockchain project from its original founders. Lots more exciting things to come, as this *truly* decentralized, high-performance chain is now entirely run by those who believe in it!

I built a new blockchain app (beta) koinos-pulse.vercel.app/ ....with the novel idea that we could analyze peoples comments with AI and give them a NFT badge on chain to track their sentiment. No money is necessary to use the app nor do you need to pay for any minting. its 100% free. You dont even need to download a wallet to use it. The IDEA: NFT badges would enable users to own their own their own meta data by hashing sentiement into the badge attribute. This is the only feature on the app right now, but we want to allow ERC-1155 style NFTs, HQ (LIVE) style NFTs, all so you can build more ownership over your metadata. The GOAL: Get users to own their meta data on a platform so they can be rewarded based on what badges they hold. What you can do to HELP: Try the app out, its in beta. Login with twitter (or bluesky), then generate a blockchain wallet with seed phrase and start replying or creating your own post. Your replies are analyzed with GPT5 and you are given the chance to mint your sentiment as an NFT on the @KoinosNetwork blockchain.
