Konza Technopolis is rapidly emerging as a major manufacturing and export hub through the development of the upcoming Export Processing Zone (EPZ), supported by the flagship Lucky DJX Jeans industrial complex. Developed under the oversight of the Export Processing Zones Authority, the project features four fully completed industrial warehouses, each providing approximately 32,000 square metres of modern manufacturing space designed to support large-scale production and global trade. The facility features a solar manufacturing company focused on green technology solutions and a state-of-the-art textile enterprise specializing in high-volume denim and apparel production. Specialized machinery is currently being installed ahead of the facility's launch, while an integrated industrial washing plant will support the treatment, finishing and preparation of garments for export markets. The development reinforces Konza's vision as a plug-and-play industrial destination within Kenya's Silicon Savannah. The project is also set to become a major employment catalyst, with ongoing recruitment expected to create between 15,000 and 20,000 direct jobs once all production lines are fully operational.
