4. Housing crisis NOT driven by immigration. Far bigger causes are negative gearing, planning delays & demand to live in certain areas. Dwellings grew faster than population (19% vs 16% last 10 yrs). Slashing migration could raise prices long-term by hurting growth/construction.

Training Fields in Fairfield, new facility in Camden, $1 a year rent to Campbelltown Stadium... The locals have largely rejected them (for good reasons) and now they say to the local rate payers:
Things are so bad at Macurthur, they’re relying on Cambelltown Council to fork out $44k for “free” tickets. If I was a ratepayer I’d be furious!
