One of the things to consider when thinking about negotiating is putting yourself first and including yourself in the equation. You come first.
I tell most of my friends when they are trying to make it up to me that they come first and it is the idea that if they can put themselves in the equation, they are in a better position to show up for the relationship.

Enjoying my walk and this older white lady walking by jokingly say "I wouldn't want to run into you in a dark alley you look intimidating" I laughed 🤣 with her joking around, then pulled my pants up looked her directly in her eyes 😠 and said I will rob yo azz right here in the day light. 😳I saw her soul leave her body. Then I started back smiling 🤪 and said Just kidding 😂 have a good rest of your walk and don't let me catch you down no dark alleys
