Hempfield grad Ryan Moffatt has signed with BK Pardubice of the Czech Republic National Basketball League for year 2 of his pro hoops career. In year 1, he averaged 13.5 pts, 5.1 rebs for Traiskirchen Lions in Austria.

NYU is 28-1 and is in the D3 Final Four. Dave Klatzky has done a terrific job. To note, 42% of its roster is grad students. Grad students play 62.6% of the minutes and score 63.2% of the Violets’ points. Old > young.

Samir Gordon #11 was a member of LA Cats 17U AAU team back in 2020 - the Covid season. He died earlier this week at age 21. Such sad news.RIP Samir. Strawberry/banana body armor forever. Prayers up to his family and friends.

Hempfield grad Eli Washington’s college career ended with Lock Haven’s loss to Millersville last night.
He started 104 of the 111 games he played in. Scored 1,285 points, had 158 steals, annoyed many opponents and was the 2023-24 PSAC Winter Scholar-Athlete of the Year. #CATS17U
