Aren't they sitting in a... library?
"Stare at a wall" is so apt bc there is literally nothing for kids to do here anymore. Parks are for young children, so teens get chased out, everything is super expensive so you can't go on a day out, and there's precious little nature left to explore. Thats all you can do.

Meant to protect our borders from external enemies, our defence forces are instead cleaning up our rivers and conducting competitive exams!
VIDEO | Delhi: Anurag Singh, Lieutenant Colonel, Officer Commanding, Yamuna Task Force, says, "The Indian Army and the Government of India's Ministry of Defence decided to form the Yamuna Task Force here...The Indian Army's involvement in this brings with it people's expectations and hopes, and we will always live up to them." On being asked about the possibility of taking a holy dip, he says, "People will start taking a dip in the Yamuna from next year itself. But let me make it clear, this effort will require everyone's participation." (Full video available on PTI Videos - ptivideos.com) #Delhi

23 year old Aditya Sharma from Himachal Pradesh was killed in the US strikes on a vessel off the Oman coast. A young Indian lost his life in a conflict that was never his. Have we heard a single strong condemnation from the Govt yet?

@Zee5, your " FIFA WC 2026 plan needs to be called out even more harshly. Web browser streaming is capped at SD/480p “due to anti-piracy, while FHD/1080p is only available on the app. 480p for a paid World Cup stream in 2026 is ridiculous. #zee5 #fifaonzee5

Wrong-side driving is on the rise; what it says about the future of India 'Most of our problems come from the same force that condones wrong side driving. The fire that broke out in a Delhi hotel a few days ago, killing 21, was caused by the same mindset that empowers people to take a 10-tonne vehicle out on the street, drive on the wrong side the whole day, and face no consequences, unless someone takes a video, posts it on social media and tags the police. Any officer in this country can just step out of his office, on to the road, and see wrong-side driving within five minutes, but they appear to notice it only on social media.' I really think the AI discourse is sleeping on implications for balancing work with care work! Probably bc most people involved don't care much ( are mostly men), but there's lots to unpack. Some good (like my morning), some bad (like constant pressure to upskill do more)

India’s falling fertility rate should surprise absolutely nobody. Healthcare, school fees, housing, insurance costs etc are exploding, and both parents now have to work just to afford a decent quality of life for a child. At the same time, there is barely any meaningful govt support.

I find it odd when people turn businessmen into role models, and this seems to have become more common in the last 5-odd years. It's the same with idolising movie stars and sports stars. None of it should happen, really. 😀 When people come to me for advice, my first reaction is: What makes you think I'm qualified? Just because I've gotten lucky in business, does that make me qualified to advise you on your career, your life choices, or anything apart from how to get lucky? 😀 There are startup founders, especially people working in the social sector, whom I meet through @RainmatterOrg, and I think they are far smarter and more capable of giving advice than I am. If you still pick a role model, pick someone for a trait worth admiring in real life, not because of what they project to the outside world.
