I liked the idea of faster progression at the start of Season 2 to (hopefully) draw in more new players by giving them a taste of what decent loot and Runner upgrades are like to play with, especially for the F2P players.
The game and gameplay loop is already good! We just need more people to give it a chance and get them to the end game. I was a fan of the progression/loot economy at the start of S2.
We have identified some issues affecting the progression systems and loot economy and will be rolling out a few fixes:
Cert containers: Fixing an issue causing more Cert containers to spawn than intended in Night Marsh.
Cradle: Given the increased quality and quantity of loot, we've increased progression costs by 25%.
We are also still tracking down more issues and will be adjusting loot drops globally while we investigate. We want loot to feel rewarding, but also not flood the economy with too many powerful items early in the season.
We'll continue to monitor these systems and feedback closely throughout the season.
