Surprised there r harvard folks studying Kannada n other inscriptions, n understanding scholars of those times(1100 era) n coming up with “Everyday science” of those times n making a study.
Chalukyas had scholars who used to cite other scholars, write abt clouds, maths etc 🫡

Was blown away by the whole third floor all the walls were used to show the darbar at one side, family tree of mysuru kingdom at the other side, making it a 360 degree view at jayamahal palace.
Why there is even restrictions to not take photos!?

My heart sank, with my dry bleakly red eyes I stood for few mins in reception lobby n returned.

Call me whatever, if the front customer face of any company, hotel, restaurants, shops had kept an outsider(who can’t speak kannada), My first instinct is I can’t trust this entity and would never go back to their services anytime later.
