Bloody hell. @AerLingus just cancelled our return flights home from NYC. Was a dream trip planned with the girls. Travel company won’t return just the return flights home. Waiting to hear back from airline. Kids are heartbroken. Merry Xmas!!!!

4) Had my daughter not collapsed in public where someone kindly rang 999 or collapsed the day before when she was playing 90 mins of football - the outcome could have been catastrophic. As it is, the impact on her is huge.
My advice - AVOID YASMIN @BayerPharma #Yasmin

3) My question is why this drug was released into the market. Why did we need another contraceptive pill with others on the market. So why run the risk with ppls lives? There are other women and girls out there at risk.

2) She had only 1 risk factor -Yasmin contraceptive pill & had only started it 3 months ago. At no point was the INCREASED clot risk of this drug in clinical trials shared with my daughter. Not sure if the GP was even aware. gov.uk/drug-safety-update/ya…

1)The last 48 hours have been the most scary. My daughter (18) collapsed & was taken to ED. Diagnosed with 2 x bilateral HUGE clots in lungs - impact evident in every lobe. Clots so big they caused heart strain. Thankfully her obs stabilised & she didn’t need thrombolysis.

Today I took my daughter to uni. I have been blocking it out if I’m honest. I’m totally conflicted, wanting her to fly but wanting to still be her protector, always there in case of a fall. It’s utterly heart breaking. I feel so lost yet so proud of her. 💔

OMG Ive been utterly spoilt, thank u so much. Yesterday was my last day @SalfordCO_NHS & I will miss Team Salford very much. Ive made some fantastic friends & met some v dedicated ppl across the whole Salford system. It’s v tough 2 leave u guys. Remember how amazing u are. ❤️😢🙏
