The fact that this stadium is home to a team that played in LA until 1995, then played in St. Louis for twenty years before moving back to LA in 2016 tells you everything you need to know about soulless cultureless American franchise sport(s).
You’re hosting the biggest global sporting event in the world. If you don’t want people from all parts of the world entering the country, don’t bid for the WORLD CUP.

I get fans want to see more local players coming through the academy, but honestly, the argument about why we're sourcing all our players from the NE is pretty unnecessary. Clubs are likely scouting talent from there coz those kids have had more training and experience.
JAPAN ARE CHAMPIONS OF ASIA 🇯🇵
Congratulations to all of our #BarclaysWSL stars on their incredible achievement 🏆
ALT A graphic celebrating Japan as the 2026 Asian Cup Champions, set against a wooden surface background scattered with red confetti. Large white text at the top reads "2026 ASIAN CUP CHAMPIONS". Below this, sixteen trading-style cards featuring Japanese Barclays WSL players are arranged in a four-by-four grid. Each card displays the player's portrait, name, and club crest against a coloured background matching their team. The players shown are Maya Hijikata (Aston Villa), Kiko Seike and Moeka Minami (Brighton & Hove Albion), Hikaru Kitagawa, Rion Ishikawa, and Honoka Hayashi (Everton), Risa Shimizu and Fuka Nagano (Liverpool), Saki Kumagai (London City Lionesses), Ayaka Yamashita, Yui Hasegawa, and Aoba Fujino (Manchester City), Hinata Miyazawa (Manchester United), Toko Koga and Maika Hamano (Tottenham Hotspur), and Riko Ueki (West Ham United). A portion of the Japan Football Association (JFA) crest is visible in the bottom right corner.
Decent first half performance. Well-deserved goal. Really nice ball from Roshan to set it up. Would like to see more from Brian Sanchez. Hardly had an impact. #WeAreBFC
Not the greatest of performances from BFC, but that Chhetri goal at the death definitely added some sparkle to it. Looked out of sorts for much of the second half, but still managed to see it through without too much trouble.
Working 7–8 hours a day just to come home and have only 4 hours of personal time and rest, including preparing for the next day, feels deeply wrong and sad.
"We ask too much of young people in society at times, we have to let them learn, educate them, help them, understand they will make mistakes. With good guidance, all of us play a part in developing them to be Manchester United players and people."
Lmao. Who started overpaying for players? Who created an ecosystem that focused too heavily on the top league? Who started hoarding players?
At the end of the day, when you shrink the player pool, you end up paying more for them. It is as simple as that.

And please don’t fucking get me started on drafts. As a BFC fan, the last time it happened, it fucking broke my heart to see our squad being ripped apart.
Also, when BFC qualified for AFC Cup final, which league were we in? All the best results in Asia, be it East Bengal or Dempo, came when an open league was the norm. Once this shitshow began, we have hardly achieved anything. So kindly fuck off.
