I’ve been dealing with carpal tunnel and ongoing numbness for weeks now, so I can’t work like I normally would. I finished this with my non-drawing hand and I’m currently teaching myself to draw with my other hand while I recover.

Can't draw right now because of carpal tunnel in my left hand... but hey, I've still got my right. Back to sculpting and doing something instead. Nothing can stop me from being creative

Art is a luxury, and $300 is a fair price. Too many artists undervalue their work because of comments like that. People spend money on all kinds of things, everyone has their own priorities and what matters to them. For some, that’s art. Stop crying

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as.
300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing??
Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.
