The charges based on that: Conspiring a terroist attack 17 yrs Joining a terrorist group 10 yrs I'm trying to relate the crime and charges. 2/ Evidences: judge explicitly says there is "no evidence" to prove that he commited the act (sending Shafiu or anyone to abroad), but "OTHER" evidences "proves" this. These "other" evidences proving "he sent Ali Shafiu" are: • secret witness 1: "I called amyne after Ali Shafiu was arrested from Afghan, Amyne said he also don't know" but he also received a phone call regarding it • secret witness 5: End of 2019 Amyne, told me, nobody can go syria without him knowing it. [Pont of contention ghosted is: He was in isolation in Dhoonidhoo at that time so impossible to talk to a man face to face] • Secret witness 2: Amyne was seen in a public park with 2 people who later went to Syria. Also he walked in through a road where Yasir Yahiya was standing. • his phone had a pic of Awlaki , and cover page to Book Hadith of man who killed 99 men etc. Pic of Maldivian fighters with Avas news water mark. • a laptop in his home (defence says was a laptop brought to repair) had a video with isis logo. • intel report: Maldives polices googled pics of Maldivian fighters , with a headline "amyne sent em". (Nothing more.) • 5 intel reports saying "amyne sent a guy to afghan" (all based on the infamous Ali Shafiu torture.) If you read through his case file (now half public) , shows that it is only the last one, the intel report, the only "evidence" he was sentenced. Although the judge says "all these proves beyond doubt" he commited the crime. (Sending Shafiu).
