Our latest work led by @ItsClaraLiao is a collaboration with the other Kwan lab @kwanlab We used single-nucleus RNA sequencing to measure transcriptional responses in the mouse medial frontal cortex following a single dose of psilocybin. ๐Ÿ„ ๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿงฌ biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/โ€ฆ

Excited to share our latest preprint! ๐ŸŽ‰ In this study, we find that the histone H3 variant H3.3 establishes neuronal transcriptome, identity, and connectivity during a critical window in cerebral cortex development. 1/11 biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/โ€ฆ

Our new CUT&Tag data added in revision further confirms that preexisting, replication-coupled H3 histones are insufficient for establishing neuronal chromatin and transcriptome; de novo H3.3 is required for these processes to postmitocially refine neuronal identity.๐Ÿ‘13/11
