As an Eagle Scout, it’s sad to see an organization that’s supposed to stand for so much good be involved in so much bad. I hope the victims receive every bit of the compensation they deserve
Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy as it faces thousands of child abuse allegations going back decades.
The org kept a list of 7,000 staff/volunteers suspected of abusing 12,000 children. Last year, it admitted some reported abusers had been allowed to return.
