The worst part about knowing EE lore is being aware Europeans have stupid plugs for literally no reason (could have been 60hz but a German company liked round numbers and chose 50hz)

being physically or socially near the right people is a practical augmentation to your own intelligence the way people think about having frontier model access today

Fun fact: @GavinNewsom has budgeted >300% more tax dollars for a nonexistent California rail system than SpaceX raised in private capital in its entire history as a private company.
Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and gas while Elon Musk becomes a TRILLIONAIRE. When the federal government is for sale, the rich get richer and everyone else gets shafted. The system is rigged.

Thank you @cursor_ai for the hat, thus preparing me in defense for the inevitable experience of male pattern baldness. It is with great shame that I must admit it's too small for my cranium.

I used to be a big proponent of "someone else has it worse" logic when something negative happened until I realized that if you operate under the idea you’re not deserving of sympathy because someone else has it worse then only ONE singular person in the world is allowed a break. Sometimes you should just do things because you can even if they suck, it's not about other people having a less desirable circumstance. It's the fact that you in fact have a circumstance that is modifiable. I think that's why you shouldn't feel bad
