I am deeply saddened by the loss of OPP Constable Tarun Bali, a member of the Dufferin OPP Detachment, who lost his life in the line of duty while serving in northern Ontario. Every day, police officers across Ontario put on the uniform knowing the risks that come with protecting our communities. They run toward danger, answer calls for help, and work tirelessly to keep our families safe. Constable Bali made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. Today, I join residents across Dufferin–Caledon in mourning his loss and honouring his service. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, fellow officers, and the entire OPP family. May he rest in peace.
