One of my favorite devices at home. It’s a very very cute piece of hardware that makes me feel I’m in control of my house. It has its downsides: it’s not fast enough at excruciating tasks, its speakers aren’t strong enough and some other little annoyances, but totally worth it
It's here! 🎉 We're very excited to share with you the future of open voice, the Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition! This has been 2 years in the making - we look forward to taking you on this journey with us. 😌 Links in the reply 👇🏼

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

The experience was not the best using @GoogleAIStudio but I decided to install @AndroidStudio to improve the app I created with ai and see where I land. Last time I developed an android app was ~6 years ago 🤯

It’s so fun to set up new services in old computers, but it’s sooo painful to migrate

Another fun day with my @ZimaSpace NAS and the wonderful tool for DIYers from @iFixit Today I added 4 internal hard drive disks to continue to build my own cloud. And yes, I’m still using 2 old computers to run headless servers. ☁️

My impression about @GoogleAIStudio -Incredibly slow -Does render app and creates unnecessary bugs -Does not allow to install app into phone if not using Google Chrome Very disappointing but let’s see if it ever loads…

UPDATE: the app was successfully built, I needed to use Google Chrome to render it, which is kind of annoying. I also need to use Gemini api key, it seems. It’s cool that android apps can be built this fast, but being under Google’s sovereignty sucks

Every model released everyday is more powerful than the other and they will take everybody’s jobs in six months The boy who cried wolf 🤪
Introducing Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class model that we’ve made safe for general use. Its capabilities exceed those of any model we’ve ever made generally available.

19 years old and teches C at Stanford. What??? 🤯🤯 A very good podcast, thank you @ossia for interviewing different people from different backgrounds, it’s tremendously enriching
In this episode of the freeCodeCamp podcast, Quincy interviews Stanford's youngest instructor, Rachel Fernandez. She recently helped organize Stanford's TreeHacks Hackathon. They talk about the current state of CS education, the continued importance of C , how to avoid "deskilling" when using AI tools, and. more. freecodecamp.org/news/stanfo…
