A group that once suffered entry pushback in the 1960s recently supported the NDHPA Act policies that subject their sister professionals, Pharmaceutical Scientists, to blatant exploitation. Today, they are facing a similar card played by those who once benefited from the very....

Quality training shouldn't come at the expense of welfare. NUPAPWU calls for a fair and sustainable framework that protects the welfare of medical and pharmaceutical interns who continue to contribute to healthcare service delivery while undergoing clinical training. #DecentWork

The good thing about this world is that it often serves people a taste of their own medicine. However, we shall not be like them, those who know what is right but selfishly choose otherwise. We shall stand for what is right: fair pay, decent remuneration for our interns #NUPAPWU

Pharmaceutical sector needs all pharmacy professionals of Uganda. @AbiazRwamwiri @APSU2024 @DianaAtwine @GwebayangaC @JaneRuth_Aceng @MinofHealthUG @NUPAPWU @PharmacistsUg @ppau_official @AHPC_Ug @ProfJCOkiria1 @UNDAuthority @mbupsa . NDA should consider all pharm professionals
Dear Afande @mkainerugaba this is a sector that needs serious investigations in its business and recruitment. This body seems to have lost its independence to a certain professional body. This has caused to exploitation and under utilisation of some of our scientists in Uganda.

Replying to @UNDAuthority
@UNDAuthority should be a neutral body listening to all councils that train pharmacy professionals, but not favouring only @PharmacistsUg , in Uganda we have four pharmacy professionals. 1. Pharmacists 2. Pharmaceutical scientists 3. Dispensers. 4. Pharmacy assistants. !!!

Enough is enough! It is time for this matter to be challenged before the Equal Opportunities Court. It is unfair and hypocritical to continuously discriminate against other qualified professional groups in favor of a single group. @mkainerugaba @KagutaMuseveni

At Joint Medical Stores, ‘the procurement officers’ who are MPs met a gentleman called Dr. Bill who after listening to their dubious deals, sent them to one of his Juniors, Brian but also issued a red flag to him. They were dismissed going forward. So who provided the service?

Great @mkainerugaba kindly look into the pharmaceutical sector and save us. Mafias are subjecting our scientists to exploitation, scientists who are meant to innovate and produce medicines to make Uganda a pharmaceutically self-reliant nation. It's hypocrisy my General!

We are watching the space! @UNDAuthority has not engaged us members of @APSU2024 amd @NUPAPWU yet, in the formulation of the Guidelines. Wait for the controversial provisions that will show up. Terrible consequences await should this happen!
Uganda has over 4 pharmacy professionals, we need to see them all fully participating in providing quality pharmaceutical care as per their councils acts!! @UNDAuthority @NUPAPWU @ppau_official @PharmacistsUg @AHPC_Ug @MinofHealthUG @AbiazRwamwiri @APSU2024 @JaneRuth_Aceng.

One day, a group of individuals who used their influence and manipulation to unfairly discriminate qualifying scientists under clause 31 of the NDHPA Act, will be exposed and justice shall be served. From 2013, they have contributed to their exploitation by the pharm capitalists.
Private lawyers representing the corrupt against the state...will face consequences themselves.
