I’m pivoting from Web Dev to Embedded Systems Engineering for 2026.I don’t have a hardware lab yet, so I’m mastering C/C and starting with simulations (Wokwi/Proteus) until I can get the real gear. HTML/CSS was a great start, but I’m ready to get closer to the metal. 🛠️

How memory, pointers, and data structures work under the hood. Professor Jerry Cain, Programming Paradigms, Stanford (CS107) lecture on generic stacks in C.

I was able to write something on the last practice project I posted. I must say that I've learnt a handful from writing just this one project. It's not finished yet, but I'm almost done coding this.

I slacked for a really long time, so I had to retake the tutorials again just to refresh my brain. I asked claude to give me an idea for a project to practice with. I'll be sharing the results of this challenge soon.

Be honest devs, Is coding still worth learning in the AI era?

Guys, today I just got myself my first kit from @Nerdshed_ . One small step for me, one big leap in learning electronics and embedded systems. #engineering #embeddedsystems #letsgo

Day 4: Learnt variables and in C today first step in learning embedded programming, I guess.

Don’t look too close at the wiring, no soldering iron, just vibes and polythene tape. 🔌🩹 I had to bypass the PCB entirely to get it moving, so it’s basically hotwired now. It’s not that great, but the kids think I’m a wizard, and that’s the only metric that matters today. 🏎️💨

Day 3: While learning about circuits in TinkerCAD, I came across this group of circuit components. I've built simple projects using resistors and capacitors, but I'd like to build more complex ones with the rest as time goes on. On to the next...

Day 2 of learning Arduino on TinkerCAD. Today, I did what everyone who has been learning Arduino at one point must of done, making an LED blink. It was cool to transition from static circuits and I believe this is just the beginning of so much more exciting things to build.

I decided to take what I last practiced up a notch, so I tweaked a little, add a few more things to it, so that when the push button is pressed, two LED's would turn on. #Electronics #Engineering #DIYElectronics #Breadboard

Day 2 of Learning Circuits on TinkerCAD. I practiced basic circuits that I learnt on Tutorials I found on TinkerCad, I applied some of the knowledge I gained and designed a simple project of lightbulb to test how well I understood wiring and basic circuit setup.

I decided to take a Thermodynamics course on Youtube, in a bid to start preparing for next semester. I'm not that kind of student actually... 😂, but I guess it's a good start for a change.

Day 2 of arduino, I completed my session on learning Basic electricity and circuits. Finished Ohm's law and Circuits. Nothing to complex about it.

Started Arduino/Circuits 2 days ago! 🔌 Already handled breadboards and TinkerCAD. Today is for the fundamentals: Ohm’s Law Series/Parallel circuits. Posting my latest circuit builds later today! 📸 #Arduino #STEM #LearningToCode

I guess I'll begin a 100 day streak, learning the basics of Arduino again, I'll post daily briefings on what I'm doing and all. That should be a great starter, since I'm shifting into embedded systems.
It's been a while since I've been actively posting on this space, I guess a lot has happened lately that has been keeping me quite occupied, but I'm glad to announce that I'm back and ready for more challenges. So I guess, where did I leave off? let's pick up from there.

What’s one way you’ve used AI to simplify a task?

Finished my last project and decided to cook another one. This one's a Blogging page. I really have to put all of that knowledge to good use and execute them for better understanding.
