GI is 14-1 after an 82-34 win over Lew-Port tonight. GI's lone loss came at Kenmore West on Jan. 28. They finish their Niagara Frontier League schedule Friday against Kenmore East and Feb. 11 against CSAT.

Jayden Kleinschmidt and Alejandro Perez dance like it's 1595 during rehearsal today of the first act of "Something Rotten!" at Grand Island HS. The musical will run for three shows: Feb. 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 6 p.m.
Jayce Wylke (28 pts) & Dane Brown (20) led Grand Island in a 65-37 win at Kenmore East on Tuesday night. Tied 13-13 after 1 qtr, GI outscored the Bulldogs 40-13 in the 2nd/3rd quarters. Wylke had 13 hoops for the Vikings, who are 7-0 on the season.

Grand Island High School's main gymnasium is getting an upgrade. As a photographer, I love how bright the new gym will be allowing me to shoot at a higher shutter speed.
