When powerful interests press their thumb on one side of the scales of justice, someone has to push back. Today, Judge Dave Larson released a statement regarding the growing concerns in Washington on the independence of our judiciary and on our implementation of Judicial elections in our state. "The judicial branch belongs to the people. Not to a party. Not to whoever holds power." Read Judge Larson's full statement here: bit.ly/4viVfEp

This 3 minute video captures it all on why Judge Dave Larson is the best choice for our state. As he states... "We have been so interested in getting our way that we have lost our way. The political storm we face in our courts is caused by the desire of some to use the power and control of the courts to rule us instead of embracing the duty and responsibility to represent us. I can be the calm in that storm because I have worked successfully in our trial courts and with both Democrats and Republicans in the legislature to improve our courts." This is what Judge Dave Larson would bring to our Supreme Court: the experience, fairness, and steady judgment our courts need.

We're incredibly excited to announce that the Forward Party, founded by former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang and former Republican New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman, has endorsed Judge Dave Larson for Washington State Supreme Court, Pos. 5. Leaders from both parties, behind one judge known for his independence. "Dave Larson is exactly the kind of candidate the Forward Party was created to support," said Co-Chair Andrew Yang. Co-Chair and former Governor Christine Todd Whitman added that Dave "represents the best of what independent, accountable leadership looks like."

Judge Dave Larson was honored to speak as guest of honor at a Sikh community event at the ShoWare Center in Kent on May 23rd. The tradition's commitments to justice, equality, and service are values our courts should reflect every day. Grateful for the welcome.

Today we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. At Gettysburg, Lincoln reminded us what their sacrifice asks of the living:

Happy Mother's Day!! It is a special day of gratitude. I am grateful to the woman who brought me into this world, the woman who brought my two sons into this world, and the women who brought my five grandchildren into this world. The photo is from Mother's Day 2013 in the Diamond Club at Safeco Field. My mom was a rabid Mariners fan, but had never been to a game in person. My dad died in February 2013, three days shy of their 59th wedding anniversary, so my brother Todd and I decided to take her to a game in the Diamond Club for Mother's Day. Her smile says it all! The ticket for that game still hangs on my wall. My mom kept a campaign brochure from my first judicial campaign in a frame I gave her for Mother's Day in her living room bookcase until the day she died (I display it in my bookcase now). The message of my campaign is still the same to this day and her love for me still drives me to make the motto a reality: Make the Justice System Work for you... Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there today. For those of you missing your moms today, hold onto the memories. They carry you. Hers still does for me.

If you enjoy watching the Seahawks win Super Bowls, you can thank Dave Larson. 30 years ago, Dave donated his legal services to the 12s to stop the Seahawks from moving to Anaheim. It's just one of many examples of his selfless commitment to service & standing for what's right.

Experience matters on our State Supreme Court. With 41 years in the law, nearly 18 years on the bench & 23 years as a trial lawyer, Dave Larson brings the experience, balance, & constitutional judgment this race demands. WA deserves fair, independent courts. #LarsonForWA

The response to Monday's announcement was clear: Dave Larson is sorely needed on our state’s highest court. In 2024, Dave was outspent 3:1 & only lost by 0.61%. With your support, we can close that gap & bring common sense to the bench. Join the team! 👉larsonforjustice.com/

It truly was a privilege and an honor to serve as Campaign Chair & Manager for Judge Dave Larson’s state Supreme Court race. While I am so incredibly disappointed in the results - especially with this small of a margin - I can’t help but feel a lot of gratitude for all of you. Thank you. Thank you to every voter, supporter, donor, volunteer, and staff member. Thank you to every person that served as a sounding board, offered advice, and helped see this through (with a special shoutout to Jackson Maynard and Rachel Munro!). Taking on a statewide race for your first campaign is not exactly typical, but I’m fortunate - not only did I have an exceptional candidate to get behind, but I also had incredible people to lean on throughout the process. For that, I’m grateful. I might share my biggest takeaways from this election cycle at some point, after I’ve had a chance to recoup and reflect a bit. But for now, I plan to spend some time with my kids, sleep, and begin strategizing about how to combat some of the inevitable nonsense that will face Washington in 2025. Thanks, everyone. 🇺🇸
Judge Larson expresses his gratitude in the attached statement. His dedication to doing what's right will never change. Thank you all - for everything!

Our race is in the final drive of this election. Thank you everyone for checking their ballot statuses, and spreading the word to encourage others to do the same, at votewa.gov. There are far more ballots rejected than the margin separating Judge Larson and his opponent. With your support, we can do this. Let's make this a game winning drive! #LarsonForWA
