When closed, Vitra Ampi is a oftly radiused rectangle with an inviting dish on the top surface that provides induction charging for your phone. Slide open the front drawer and you’ll discover USB-A and USB-C ports, alongside two mains chargers. It’s the ultimate desk accessory!

Ampi – the clever new desktop charging accessory we designed for Vitra – is made from recyclable plastic with a softly tactile texture and the pull tab on the magnetic drawer is crafted from Kvadrat textile in a nod to Vitra’s furniture heritage.

We named the charging station we designed for Vitra ‘Ampi’ – taking inspiration from amps, a unit that denotes the amount of electricity used by a device. With induction charging on the top, and a USB-C, 2 USB-A ports and 2 mains outlets in the drawer, we think it’s an apt name!

Calma for Andreu World is defined by an aluminium frame that wraps around the body of the chair, fluidly connecting the seat to the backrest and flowing into the signature loop armrest. This cocoons the user for comfort and maintains a visually lightweight appearance.

Our new Calma task chair for Spanish brand Andreu World features plump seating balanced by a slim backrest that gives the chair a lightweight appearance. When specified in volume, the slimline form allows it to work seamlessly with the architecture of any interior space.

When designing the new Calma collection of chairs for Andreu World, we wanted to celebrate simplified forms and crafted materials. The signature is a die-cast aluminium frame that wraps around the backrest to create a framing element that flows seamlessly into the loop armrests.

Ampi is a compact desk accessory designed by LAYER for Vitra with three modes of charging: USB, induction, and mains. To wirelessly charge, simply place a device on the top surface. At the same time, you can charge up to five other devices via the USB ports and mains outlets.

Ampi is a new desk accessory for Vitra. The drawer slides out to reveal a USB-C and two USB-A ports, which can be used to charge devices. When the drawer is fully open, two mains ports that can be used to power a monitor or charge a laptop are revealed.
