During one of my mom's chemotherapy treatments, she encouraged me to write it all down. I had no idea those conversations and journal pages would one day come full circle in such a beautiful way.

Last night, we received some heartbreaking requests for patient care boxes that needed to go out early this morning. As I packed boxes late into the night, Moose followed me upstairs and settled in right behind me.
He's my buddy. Always knows when it's care box packing time.

Many of the items inside our care boxes were lovingly created by people who have walked a difficult journey themselves. They understand what it feels like to face hard days, uncertain moments, and long roads.
