First of all, do not come on my page asking questions and then threaten to block me. Your entire cult is made up of cowards who cannot have a serious conversation and choose to cover their ears and block people so they can remain in their blaspheming echo chamber. So go ahead Sarah. Block me. Many of your cult already has. You will be no different.
But I will not remain silent because some people disdain the truth. And I *will* respond because you are not the only person in this world and other people do see my posts.
“I regard Yahweh as the adversary—the devil himself.”
Because you are biblically illiterate. Jesus says, “How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” John 5:44. So He has already established there is one true God.
Then He says, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood. Has not Moses given you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to kill me?” John 7:16-19
So apparently somehow these people are already supposed to know the will of God and they are supposed to be able to know whether Jesus’ teaching is from God or not. How? Because they already have the Scriptures! They should know God and His will. This passage makes ZERO sense if there is some mystery father being revealed. How can they know God’s will and know whether Jesus’ teaching aligns with it if they have nothing to compare it to, because God is some mystery father?? But let’s keep going.
In John 8, the people say, “We have one Father—even God.” They are clearly referring to YHWH. Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.”
Jesus does not tell them they have the wrong God. He doesn’t say YHWH is not God. He doesn’t change the referent and introduce a new god. He says that He came from that same God and was sent by him.
Then he doubles down and says, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.”
The same God that these people say is “their God” is Jesus’ Father. It is plainly laid out. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of Moses.
Jesus said in Matthew 22:31-32, “And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God (That is tou theou. THE GOD.): ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” This is testimony that YHWH is the true God. How can you not see this? But let’s keep going.
Let’s go to Luke. An angel visits Zechariah to tell him he will have a son (John the Baptizer) who will “be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” Fulfilling Malachi 3:1 which is prophecy from the LORD of Hosts…YHWH. It says he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God (that is YHWH) in the spirit and power of Elijah (YHWH’s prophet).
Mary knows who is asking her to birth the Messiah. She says, “He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” (Lk 1:54-55)
