The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays his handiwork. Day after day it speaks out; night after night it reveals his greatness. Psalm 19:1–2

In his teaching Jesus also said, “Watch out for the experts in the law. They like walking around in long robes and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They devour widows’ property, and as a show make long prayers. These men will receive a more severe punishment.” Mark 12:38–40

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Hebrews 1:3

If you falsely declare fellow Christians to be non-Christians, you are in danger of apostasy. (e.g., Rom 16:17-18; Titus 3:10-11; 1 Jn 3:10b; 1 Jn 4:20; 3 Jn 1:10-11; Jude 1:18-19) #biblicalsoteriology #whatGodsays

I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him. That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away. Ecclesiastes 3:14–15

What is @israelanderson saying here? He seems to be saying the gospel of Mark is commentary? What about the gospel of Matthew, Luke, and John.. Is that just commentary as well? How will we know what Jesus really said and did? Fear not! We have the gospel of @IsraelAnderson

You people are brain dead. You claim YHWH and Jesus are brothers. Yet for some reason you think “Jesus’ brother” is saying “if you are the Son of God.” Wouldn’t His own brother know He was the Son of God? Why would he be trying to make his own brother prove he is the Son of God? This makes zero sense.

I find it interesting that YHWH says “If you are the son of God…” during the testing, while the pharisees said something similar at the crucifixion - “ If you are the son of God, come down from the cross”. Like IA states, you act like the Elohim you serve.

First of all, do not come on my page asking questions and then threaten to block me. Your entire cult is made up of cowards who cannot have a serious conversation and choose to cover their ears and block people so they can remain in their blaspheming echo chamber. So go ahead Sarah. Block me. Many of your cult already has. You will be no different. But I will not remain silent because some people disdain the truth. And I *will* respond because you are not the only person in this world and other people do see my posts. “I regard Yahweh as the adversary—the devil himself.” Because you are biblically illiterate. Jesus says, “How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” John 5:44. So He has already established there is one true God. Then He says, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority. The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood. Has not Moses given you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to kill me?” John 7:16-19 So apparently somehow these people are already supposed to know the will of God and they are supposed to be able to know whether Jesus’ teaching is from God or not. How? Because they already have the Scriptures! They should know God and His will. This passage makes ZERO sense if there is some mystery father being revealed. How can they know God’s will and know whether Jesus’ teaching aligns with it if they have nothing to compare it to, because God is some mystery father?? But let’s keep going. In John 8, the people say, “We have one Father—even God.” They are clearly referring to YHWH. Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.” Jesus does not tell them they have the wrong God. He doesn’t say YHWH is not God. He doesn’t change the referent and introduce a new god. He says that He came from that same God and was sent by him. Then he doubles down and says, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.”  The same God that these people say is “their God” is Jesus’ Father. It is plainly laid out. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of Moses. Jesus said in Matthew 22:31-32, “And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God (That is tou theou. THE GOD.): ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” This is testimony that YHWH is the true God. How can you not see this? But let’s keep going. Let’s go to Luke. An angel visits Zechariah to tell him he will have a son (John the Baptizer) who will “be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” Fulfilling Malachi 3:1 which is prophecy from the LORD of Hosts…YHWH. It says he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God (that is YHWH) in the spirit and power of Elijah (YHWH’s prophet). Mary knows who is asking her to birth the Messiah. She says, “He has helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” (Lk 1:54-55) 1/2

At the end of this chapter Zechariah is filled with THE HOLY SPIRIT and prophesies, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets from of old…to remember his holy covenant, the oath that he swore to our father Abraham…And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God…” Do you understand what he is saying? The God of Israel sent Jesus. The God of Israel is YHWH. He is saying YHWH is the Most High. He is saying Jesus provided salvation through the forgiveness of sins. He doesn’t say Jesus is coming to defeat YHWH. In Mathew 1:21 the angel of the LORD says, “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”  From their sins. Not from YHWH. “Scholars readily admit that the name YHWH was inserted into texts where it does not belong” This is not based in reality. Scholars debate many things about the Bible, but claiming the name YHWH was inserted in places is not a standard scholarly position. At all. “I stand firmly on the side of the true Light, not the one who demanded blood, conquest, and total destruction in the Old Testament” Again, you have zero comprehension of what that total destruction in the OT was about. If you did you would not be questioning God’s judgment, you would be thanking Him for ensuring that His promises of the Messiah made to Abraham would actually be fulfilled. You are right, Jesus is the Light of the world. And it would do you well to figure out where the promise of that Light came from. “I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness. Isaiah 42:6-7 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone. Isaiah 9:2  he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light. Psalm 36:9 2/2
