Medical consensus supports gender-affirmative care. But mainstream publications treat what should be understood as a fundamental human rights battle more like a semantic debate, resulting in stories that undermine the experts & endanger trans lives. vox.com/culture/23652475/tra…

Currently available contraceptive products may not work for everyone. Excited about @jhpiego & @fhi360's #ICFP2022 segment on 11/15 about how we develop and scale-up contraceptive innovations to help meet everyone's needs. @AmesMack @draisha_fatima Watch: icfp2022.org/icfp-live/from-…

The same SCOTUS that said yesterday that states don’t have the ability to regulate guns today gave states the power to regulate women’s bodies.

As public health communicators, we are constantly sifting through science and data in order to talk about the work we do. But we can also *turn to science* to help us #tellbetterstories and enact change.

Great point from @WorldOfMythos' @PriyankSMathur at today's @UN @Purpose event on #misinformation that social media literacy should be seen as a "vaccine" for the infodemic. We will never be able to completely eliminate misinformation. Best bet is to try to inoculate against it.

Excellent new piece from @zeynep in @nytopinion on #COVID19 vaccine hesitancy in the US: "Science’s ability to understand our cells and airways cannot save us if we don’t also understand our society and how we can be led astray." nytimes.com/2021/10/15/opini…

Thank you, YouTube!
Breaking News: YouTube is banning several prominent anti-vaccine activists as part of an effort to remove all vaccine misinformation from its platform. nyti.ms/2ZID0yb
Awesome work being done by @YaleSPH, @PublicGoodProj & @UNICEF using digital marketing strategies to figure out how to win over vaccine holdouts. "We should be valuing and investing in public trust as much as we value and invest in vaccines." #VaccinesWork bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
