What a way to end the season
Runners up in the Prem but win a tournament to end the season on a high in a pen shootout
Big lad made 2 saves in the shoutout and only conceded 1 goal in 6 games

Sheffield game aside where he got some decent goals, he never took a game by the scruff of the neck enough for you to say he was a must return

I would bet my house the club had targets in mind for L1 and L2 and were fully prepared and talking to agents. And then it’s a case of getting them over the line
