Every sport has demands and the body must meet those demands. For a sport such as volleyball athletes (especially club athletes) may make 150-200 contacts with the ground over a given weekend. So the question is how do we keep the athlete healthy, productive, and available?

To be a great athlete high movement quality should be top priority. Owning multiple planes of motion is a requirement. Strong ankles and feet are the foundation of speed.

There is an art to coaching. A few things I like for athletes to understand and do when working with me is help me help you and communicate.
It’s easy to get caught into single signal coaching (ex. you talk the athlete listens). Communication is key.
