👏 A full house of #LeaderCLLD enthusiasts are gathered in Tullamore today for the third CAP Network Ireland 2023-2027 LEADER Capacity Building Workshop. Marie Duffy, @DeptRCDG, opened the event with an update on the 2023-2027 LEADER programme at national level. 🌍 The next order of business was to delve into the opportunities within the 2023-2027 LEADER programme to address Climate Action. Oliver Wynne presented an overview of climate actions being implemented by @leitrimcoco, including exciting plans for a Wetlands Ecology Park in Carrick-on-Shannon to help mitigate flooding events, amongst many other initiatives. John Toland, @Breffni_Int Cavan County Local Development, introduced the Climate Change Training Initiative, which has engaged a wide range of stakeholders in the county.
