“a cry for help, so i flew because i care” and louis DOES. shows up suing lestat for damages to his hotel under a fake name after lestat was almost killed & calls for the meeting just to see lestat again, makes sure sam protects lestat, owns a part of lestats shares. #tvlspoilers
he wanted to check up on lestat😭he wanted to see him again after lestat wouldn’t call him back😭he hates this fucking book & everything that it ruined so he found a way to have lestat under his control bc what else would he do that’s his baby. it’s never loustatover #tvlspoilers
louis talking about how the book hurt lestat… and that they were finding their way back to each other before the book ruined everything… he’s genuinely devastated about it all and you can clearly tell if you know louis…he loves lestat so fucking much let’s all die #tvlspoilers
there’s also so much lestat doesn’t say because he won’t ever address, not even consider himself one, his victimhood, but it’s obvious nonetheless in his behaviors and words; “we couldn’t help ourselves” when gabriella drinks from him almost forcefully #tvlspoilers
theres a suffocating energy that he won’t address but feels, an invasiveness and discomforting closeness that she knows she can obtain because hes been groomed to search for her approval and it’s evident when lestat tries to put boundaries & she ignores them. im sick #tvlspoilers

lestat using french, his “father’s tongue”, which gabriella obviously despises, as a way to put some distance between gabriella and himself, trying to escape the suffocation that her closeness and invasiveness makes him feel #tvlspoilers
i enjoyed this episode but i will say the pacing wigs in auvergne left a lot to be desired but i'm not actually that pressed they didn't spend a long time on it considering the actual amount of pages in the book vs everything else.
the parallel of lestat awake & feeling guilty after killing his family as he hears his nieces & nephews’ screams while gabriella sleeps unaffected, & lestat feeling guilty as he remembers what happened decades later while gabriella sits next to him, just as unaffected #tvlspoilers
my baby :( the grief of claudia’s death is so deeply ingrained in louis it’s genuinely so fucking painful to watch. it’s something that it’s always gonna be there and the way he talks about it… this is going to be so devastating. #tvlspoilers
i wasnt sure about the chances of lestat and gabriella coming back to kill their family but after having to see everything i read about the anger inside of me was genuinely so strong that you know what. good for him good for lestat. do whatever u want baby good for u #tvlspoilers
