BREAKING: Legendary actor Robert De Niro rips into Donald Trump during a press conference for his new film Killers of the Flower Moon at the Cannes Film Festival, comparing the movie's villain to the indicted former president. De Niro, considered by some to be the greatest actor who ever lived, said that the "banality of evil" can be observed in Trump and in the villainous, murderous, real life cattleman he plays in the film. “It’s the banality of evil. It’s the thing we have to watch out for. We see it today, of course," said De Niro. “We all know who I’m going to talk about. but I’m not going to say the name. That guy is stupid. Imagine if you’re smart." De Niro expanded on his ideas and then circled back to Donald Trump— “[My character] felt he was loved by people, and some people did love him,” he said. “Look at Trump and there are people who think he could do a good job.
